In general terms, 'Marketing' means the act of promoting and selling goods or services and the method or the technique by which it is done is known as 'Marketing Strategies' .
To fulfill the purpose of promoting and selling goods or services many different types of marketing strategies has come up which we will come to know one by one.

1. NICHE MARKETING
Niche marketing is an advertising strategy that focuses on a unique target market. Instead of marketing to everyone who could benefit from a product or service, this strategy focuses exclusively on one group—a niche market—or demographic of potential customers who would most benefit from the offerings.
Example of companies which follows this type of marketing strategies : Lefty; Star cricket; TomboyX ; Bee's wrap; The middle finger project; etc.
The advantage of this type of market is that it eliminates competition and Market size. As a result the work can be done more efficiently.
We all know that when there is an advantage of anything there will always be an disadvantage of it.
The disadvantage of Niche Marketing is that there is lack of economies of scale.
2. TRADE SHOW MARKETING
Trade show and event marketing is a way to get people together with common interests to achieve a goal. B2B and B2C marketers use trade shows and events to generate leads, nurture prospects, build brand awareness, expand distribution, conduct training, or enhance relationships with existing customers.
'The Expo' which is to be conducted in Dubai is an example of this type of marketing strategy.
There is one major disadvantage associated with trade show marketing is that the cost and time required.
3. SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING
Social media marketing is the use of social media platforms to connect with your audience to build your brand, increase sales, and drive website traffic. This involves publishing great content on your social media profiles, listening to and engaging your followers, analyzing your results, and running social media advertisements.
The major social media platforms (at the moment) are Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube, and Snapchat.
This marketing strategy helps to Re- target the customer and Re-create the market.
